Self Empowerment Academy (SEA), is an indigenous Non – profit Organization (NPO) intervening in the Education sector of the economy, operating on a consultancy scale, It has been in existence since 2016, registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with a registration Number BN2422459 on the 13th day of June, 2016.
In 2016 we started by offering Academic supports to school – dropouts and other individuals in preparing them for WAEC, NECO and JAMB examinations. All through these years we have grown into an organization offering not only
Academic supports services but also Educational Consultancy Services and Social support services, hence Self Empowerment Academy is an operational Consultancy firm, we plan and carryout boots – on – the – ground projects to
accomplish our goals.
Our Mission
• To Promote literacy and Education for peace and sustainable development.
• To promote individual self-discipline, positive moral, societal behaviours and values in the society.
• To encourage and support out - of – school children/youth especially girls to acquire basic literacy.
• To support Alternative Informal and Non-Formal Education to cut down the level of illiteracy to its barest minimum level.

Our Services
1. Educational Consultancy Services (ECS)
The Educational Consultancy Services entails range of services that develops and builds the capacity of Teachers, Instructors and Tutors on one hand and theLearners/Students on the other hand for a positive, efficient and maximized
teaching – learning objective realization.
The Educational Consultancy Service aims at achieving these through an intensive and vigorous:
• Workshops and Trainings for teachers.
• Seminars and Capacity Building Programs for Teachers
• Student Workshops, Mentoring and Advisement
• Guidance and Counselling
• Vocational Skills Acquisition etc.
2. Academic Support Services (ASS)
The Academic Support Services are tailored to meet the academic needs of the academic society, that is learners/school students (especially those
preparing for JAMB, NECO and WAEC examinations. It is designed to support and aid the student to fast track an intensive understanding and coverage of the required Senior Secondary School syllabus within a time frame for an excellent academic performance. Moreover, the Academic Support Service also supports students to acquire basic knowledge in computer literacy and skills for computerbased tests (CBT).
The need and importance to read and write simple and correct English Language cannot be overemphasized, as such ASS supports learners/student in gaining basic English language Literacy for beginners, while English Language
Proficiency for intermediates.
The Academic Support Service aims at achieving all these through the following programs:
• Basic English Language Literacy for Beginners (BELL B)
• English Language Fluency for Intermediate Class (ELFIC)
• English Language Proficiency for Advance Class (ELPAC)
• Extensive Extra Lessons and Tutorial (EELT)
3. Social Support Services (SSS)
The Social Support Services is specifically designed to address/curb and minimize the effects of social vices in the society, which is believed to be a factor that hinders positive development of a nation. The Social Support Service amongst other things covers Fundraising and Solicitation of fund, Collection and further Distribution of Food and Non-food items. Civil Protection, Response and Support to victims of abuse, gender-based violence and traumatized IDPs, Less privileged ones, and the Needy.
The Social Support Service aims at achieving these through its:
• Campaigns, Sensitizations and Publicity programs.
• Psychosocial first aid and support response.
• Trauma and Resilience response.
• Gender based violence response.
• Case Identification, Management and Referrals
